Ten Thousand Miles Away

Think of you everyday, ten thousand miles away,

the rain or shine got no meaning here my skies are grey.

Don’t have much to say, in this cold cold winter day,

I’m forsaken in this frozen town,

where nothing awaits me.

Ten thousand miles away, oh dear,

don’t let me fade away.

I’m an outsider here, but everything seems okay,

they reach for me to take me down,

but no one can break this.

Ten thousand miles away, but I know,

you won’t let me fade away.

I’d do my best to know my way around, and get it over with.

Once in a blue moon my mind goes blank,

but now I’m used to it.

Ten thousand miles away,

my simple chords sway, and I’ll walk it down anyway,

the road that leads me to the bay, and i’ll be brave.

I’d do my best to know my way around,

and get it over with.

Once in a blue moon my mind goes blank,

but now I’m used to it.

Ten thousand miles away…
